“Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.”  ~Roger Caras

Do any of the following sound familiar?

I have hundreds of cell phone pictures of my dog, but they are dark and don’t show her true personality.

My son and his dog are best friends.  They do everything together!  I really should get pictures of the two of them before they get too much older.

I keep meaning to update our family portrait but don’t know where to start.

I understand how it feels.  You’re always busy and your to-do list keeps getting longer!

You have honest intentions of scheduling a portrait session, but something that “seems to be more important” always pops up.

I can help!

So, let’s be honest.  We’re all grown-ups here and we know our days are not going to magically extend themselves a few extra hours so we can get our portraits taken.

We also know that the “perfect time” will never just joyfully present itself.  Right? We have to schedule and plan for the things we want.

But here’s the secret.  I can help you find the time!

Take a moment and imagine the following:

1. Your new photographer comes to your home for the consultation.

2. You sit down on the couch and discuss your goals for the session.

3. Your dog(s) also get to meet and get comfortable with the new person.

4. You receive individual, customized attention from start to finish.  Assistance with home decor, what to wear (should you choose to be in the pictures), and selecting the best session to meet your goals.

5. You’re guided through the product selection using a system that eliminates all the guesswork.

6. Your new artwork is delivered to your home.

Through my volunteer work at the shelter, I have photographed almost 1,000 dogs.  Most have no idea how to sit or stay.  So, yes!  I can capture amazing pictures of your fur baby.

Lenora was wonderful to work with!  She took the time to get to know my dogs before taking out her camera.  Because of her extra effort to get my dogs comfortable with her, she was able to get some great pictures of my babies.

I was excited to experience action oriented photos with my crazy boys, Turk & Tag.  My favorite part was being outside and Lenora’s willingness to take natural photos of the dogs doing their thing.  SO FUN!

Frequently Asked Questions

Does my pet need to be trained for the session?

Nope!  I often work with rescue animals that have limited knowledge of basic commands.  Sure, knowing commands such as sit, stay and lay down are helpful, but they aren’t required.

Do you schedule portrait sessions on the weekends?

Yes, I do!  I hold sessions on Saturdays and Sundays at no extra charge.

I'm not comfortable letting my dog off leash. Is this a problem?

Not at all!  As a matter of fact, I require leashes at all times when out in public.  It’s a safety thing.  But don’t worry.  When I process your favorite images, the leash will be removed and no one will be the wiser.  It’ll be our little secret.

How do I choose a location?

You have a couple of options: outdoors or studio.  For outdoor portraits, we can use a favorite park or your yard.  For studio portraits, my residential studio is located near the intersection of I-45N & Rayford Rd/Sawdust exit just 2 exits south of The Woodlands mall.  If you have a senior dog, we can hold the session at your home.

Can I be included in some of the photos with my pet?

Absolutely!  In fact, I’m counting on it.  Compliment your pet’s fur with solid color clothing and pick a neutral color (not matching) that hides pet hair.  Avoid white.  Denim is also a favorite.

Howdy!

My name is Lenora Stein.  I recently celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary with my husband Mark and we are doggie parents to our gorgeous lab-mix, shelter rescue named Katie.

In addition to photography, I work as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) for a Medicare company.  I also volunteer through the Chamber’s Community Relations Team and as a photographer at the Montgomery County Animal Shelter.

In all my grown-up years of working, I’ve always held positions that allowed me to directly help others.  Whether it’s analyzing the financials, creating spreadsheets, directing others on how to get better organized or taking photos of shelter dogs so they can be adopted, helping others succeed and grow is what I do best!

It’s this experience that makes me confident that I can help you.  Complete the contact form below and we’ll schedule some time to talk.
