I want an updated family portrait but don't know what type of artwork I want. Can you help?
Absolutely! During our Design Consultation, I’ll come to your home so we can explore your options together. I’ll bring samples and explain the benefits of each type of artwork. My service begins with our first phone call and continues long after your beautiful portraits are delivered and installed. I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
I’d love to have our dogs included in our family portrait, but they’re not trained. Is that a problem?
Not at all! I often work with rescue animals who might not know basic commands. While commands like “sit” and “stay” can be helpful, they’re definitely not required. We’ll capture their personality just as they are!
Do you schedule portrait sessions on the weekends?
Yes, I do! I reserve 1-2 Saturday mornings each month for portrait sessions. It’s a perfect time to relax and capture some beautiful memories.
I’m not comfortable letting my dog off-leash. Is that a problem?
No worries at all! In fact, I require leashes when we’re out in public for safety reasons. But here’s the fun part—when I process your favorite images, I’ll magically remove the leash. It’ll be our little secret!
How do I choose a location?
You’ve got options! We can either do the session outdoors, perhaps at a nearby park or an urban area, or in my studio. We’ll choose the spot that best fits your style and vision.
Do you take portraits of dogs by themselves?
Absolutely! Our furbabies are family, and their time with us is precious. I’d be honored to help you create artwork that showcases their personality and natural good looks.
What should we wear for our portrait session?
Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident! I suggest coordinating your outfits without being too matchy-matchy. Neutral tones with a pop of color work well, especially if your dog is the star of the show. We can discuss more details during your Design Consultation!
How long does a portrait session usually take?
Sessions typically last 1-2 hours, depending on the location and the number of family members (including furry ones!). We’ll take our time to make sure everyone feels relaxed as we capture those perfect moments.
What if my dog is shy or nervous?
No problem! I have plenty of experience working with dogs of all temperaments. We’ll take it slow and make sure your dog feels comfortable. I’ll bring along some treats and toys to help them warm up!
Can we include more than one dog in the session?
Of course! The more, the merrier. We can plan the session to include all your furry friends, making sure each one has their moment to shine.
